Make sure to set Preferred DNS Server on the DNS server
Launch CMD as an ADMIN
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
net stop netlogon
net start netlogon
give it few minutes before verifying.
Run CMD again:
nslookup
at this point you should see your server name and the IP address of the DNS server
